On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 4th China Atrial Fibrillation Symposium (CAFS 2006) to be held in Dalian, China, from July 14 to 16, 2006. Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common cardiac arrhythmia and the knowledge about the mechanisms and treatment of AF rapidly evolves. This symposium is one of the most active and scientific meetings in the field of experimental and clinical research on atrial fibrillation in China. It will provide a state-of-the art information on the basic pathophysiology of AF, and present the development of the cutting edge of AF with anticoagulation/antiarrhythmic drug therapy and nonpharmacological therapies including catheter ablation, pacing and surgery.
This three-day symposium is an important China event, and gradually to be a global event for world recognized doctors and researchers, with the support by more than 600 participants and distinguished international speakers, to share advanced scientific achievement and latest information on AF. The living demonstration of ablation and surgery of AF will also be transmitted to the meeting by the world famous doctors. The official language of the symposium is English. We are confident that you would bear successful and productive fruits through our scientific programs.
Dalian city, wedged between the Yellow and Bohai Seas on the southern cusp of the Liaodong Peninsula, enjoys five-star status as one of China's premiere cities. Trendy dance clubs, ultramodern shopping centers and internationally acclaimed restaurants are the norm rather than the exception. Plus, a surrounding geographic wealth of beaches and mountains, all with just-minutes-from-downtown-accessibility, lend it the kind of excellent outdoor options. Participants will surely enjoy not only an outstanding and informative program but also various tour programs to experience the unique city of China.
We sincerely look forward to your participation of the 4th CAFS in July 2006.
With our warmest regards!
